Could you explain why the bolded part is true? How are those variables necessary?

You reach 10% HQ rate on tier 1 HQ synths on 0% new moon darksday now.

Previously, 10% HQ was reached at 50% moon neutral day.

Previously, you could reach 16% on 0% new moon darksday.

In retail, crafting direction, day, moon did not exist.

In retail, 10% HQ for tier 1 HQ synths was was was recorded.

So here, you now need to craft on 0% new moon darksday to reach retail rates.

Previously, you could craft on 0% new moon darksday to get better than retail rates.


Where do you get that from?

No.. but I've done over 400 for sure doing New Moons with good day conditions and at least 200 on near Full moons without a care for day conditions. On the same synth.

I've been tracking my synths lately to try to get some idea of exactly what's going on.

Here are the prelim results. All synths done facing East. I'm crafting Fruit Parfait.

2% Dark: 6/104; 5.77%
10% Ice: 9/72; 12.5%
12% Wind: 1/45; 2.22%
14% Water: 2/28; 7.14%
17% Earth: 4/26; 15.38%

69% Lightning: 0/8; 0%
71% Light: 7/83; 8.43%

Adding up the 2 favorable HQ synth days (2% Dark and 10% Ice here), we have 15/176; 8.52%

Neither the 2% Dark, 17% Earth, nor 71% Light make much sense.

I'm beginning to think that Moon, Day, and Direction may no longer play a part in synths. Considering that most people try to HQ on New Moon Darksday/weakday, it makes sense that lower HQ rates may have been observed due to the removal of that system.

This is only a sample size of 366, so it isn't very accurate yet. I'll continue to keep track and report total results.

Yes. Anything else is total trash. "Fun" or not, it's wrong to have anything else.

So if we use the assumption that its been murdered back to just skill (+support/furniture) are we still aiming for 5 difficulty for max skillups taking stuff 1-100? Closer to old retail paths? Same as before just HQ changed? Spin to win and synth on any day under any moon?
