And why are the crafting changes crappy?

It sounds like no one seems to want things to work properly, they just want to benefit from broken stuff. Why? Don't you guys have any shame?

Rather than deny the future, be part of helping others deal with it. Find the camps that they can use. Provide the materials that are harder to get. Craft even when you don't make as much of a profit because you HQ less. Be part of the solution rather than talk about the problems as if they will stop these changes from occurring.

Almost every major change has hurt newer players more than older players in the sense that it prevents newer players from doing something that older players have done. Yes, that sucks a lot. It's one of the major things people dislike about this server.

But it's also one of the major reasons for the growth of the server anyway. People come here for a retail-like experience. That means not having all that QoL or 'easy' stuff. And we've had less of that as time went on, and people like that. It might burn some to know that we -used- to have stuff that made things easier, but people have to get over that.

And as time moves on, the benefit that players had from old systems fades away, as everyone is forced to do things the right way. We all want a legitimate experience, and the only way to get that is to do these "reverse blue shells" once in a while, unfortunately.

Looks like this thread is heading towards deletion because every time we discuss something important, people take things personally and prefer to just throw insults out of nowhere..

Because generalizations and insults are truly the best way to make people see your point. You've gone from insisting the only other viable meripo removed because MUH ERA to "Wow everyone who isn't me must be a cheater if they don't agree with me!"

I did not insult anyone. It is not a generalization. Players would rather have the benefit of broken, unfinished content than deal with reduced gains on completed content - this was the argument presented by Epyon, and this is wrong.

I understand the "problem" this causes for many, but the crafting system isn't close to retail, it's a little bit further away in fact. It shouldn't take you months of daily farming to afford a mid-level piece of equipment. There's a good reason folks don't like you Nabby.

Some of us are pretty thankful we got the gear we did when we did. 600-800k for a Hauby+1 was nice. But now it's 6-7mil, that's far from "fair" in any regard. Maybe instead of "fixing camps" he should fix actual problems that are actually stopping progression.

"He should fix x instead of only y" isn't an argument to not fix y. I totally agree that more than just this one camp is a problem, and that exp, merits, and drops, aren't the only things that matter either, of course.

Nas can't make people sell items for less than they are worth, or more for that matter.

Regarding crafting, what's wrong with it?

You just crave negative attention, dude. It's very very odd. You could've just told nasomi this in private and not dropped an opinion you knew was going to be heavily unpopular to derail this dude's main point and threaten an exp spot that a lot of people like. It's not like its some insane exp spot even it doesn't hold a candle to birds in the coast it's just a decent spot that a smaller group can handle. Stand on your soap box about making the server "right" whatever that means but you came on here to get people to argue with you. Plain and simple. And you really should stop that.

I came here to say that it may be time to remove this camp, I didn't expect people to be so against that. If you think I crave 'negative attention', and try to argue every time I post, you have a serious problem with how you're reading what I'm saying.

People seem to purposefully misunderstand and read more into what I'm saying than I am. The arguing -always- starts with insults being thrown at me after I say absolutely anything at all. It gets threads deleted, useful info deleted, and gets no discussion to actually happen. Maybe you're the one that should stop posting?

I'm not the one that derailed the thread. And -this- is pretentious as heck.
