These features sound fantastic if they included E-mail or Push notifications.

At some point I was interested in making some kind of chart/graphing service to track sales history but I don't have to chops to bother starting, it's been mentioned a bunch of times but don't be surprised if this blows up in your face.

Nas's only contact is via the NasChat link at the top of the page, he doesn't see forum pm's. It'll take you to a chat server, then double click his name and it'll pm him.

This is where I have an issue with it. The OP is only planning on making this app for Apple products so anyone without an iPhone or iPad won't be able to get "AH item availability" notifications.

Can anyone read this and NOT see that as an advantage to certain players?

I was camping the AH for a good 3 weeks, checking on my phone via the website to see when a certain item would go up for sale. I literally took one day off and it went up and sold within the hour. 3 weeks later I got my chance to bid and got a good deal. If you add a feature like that and only apple people can access it then there's always going to be a mad scramble of ppl logging on when certain items go up for sale.

My main issue is that it would be Apple only. My secondary issue is that it clearly does give an in game advantage to its users IF it had a feature like the one mentioned above.

Now, notifications telling me that the crap I put on AH just sold? That's helpful AND harmless.

Just my two cents.

Not understanding Nasomi's rules does not give you the right to interpret them how you wish. You need to ask for clarification.

Also, if you spent any time at all in this community you should know the only way to contact Nas is through naschat. And to those using the "Nas wouldn't have let the thread last this long" to validate it, from what i remember he doesn't use a lot of time moderating the forums.

I like some of the ideas of an app but it would have to be a Nasomi sponsered product for me to trust it.

The one man train can only pull so many cars. Auditing 3rd party apps and plugins code to make sure they aren't malicious isn't one of them cars. Neat idea but if anything the website just needs to be made mobile friendly.
