You're all being ridiculous. If mazurka is supposed to wear off in combat but isn't, and you're using that bug to kite mobs, take a guess at what you're doing.

"How are we supposed to know what is intended" is not a question you will get an answer from nas for.
You already know the answer each and every time you do something. Don't play games. Don't bs. Just. Don't. Cheat.
And don't forget the most important part of the rules:
Quote:
... time wasted on players who choose not to follow the rules has a direct impact on further development, bug fixes, and QoL enhancements. Players that choose to play fairly should not be subject to delays of these features because players players cannot or will not play fairly.
While Nabutso and I have butted heads a few times too many to be of comfort, at least he understands. And I appreciate it, sir.
As for the rest of you:
Mazurka effect immediately wears off if the player performs any sort of offensive action on an enemy, or if an enemy performs any sort of offensive action on the player. This is designed to inhibit the effectiveness of kiting tactics.http://ffxiclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/MazurkaIt ain't hard to look up the intended effect of the Spell itself.
Nope - It's just not hard to look up the intended effects of many things don't work either. Should people.. cancel Mazurka once they've taken damage? Stop being ridiculous. I didn't say I was expecting Nas to tell folks what rules he thinks are enforceable and which ones aren't, but inaction sets precedent.
No one is going to sit around and ignore a game mechanic like Mazurka not wearing off, if no action is taken on those that use it and are reported. At some point, you have to say "Huh.. I guess he doesn't care about that one" and move on, when the list is so long.
OR
And I know.. Hear me out. Nas could participate in some sort of dialogue about his server, or write some rules that are the least bit relevant to today's end game scene... Because to me, "Circumventing any intended game mechanics" refers to things like pinning, or avoiding level sync, or by finding other bugs.. Intended based on what? This server is created by thousands (millions?) of intentional decisions.
Not using a hecking song that doesn't wear like we think it should, based off an experience that we already know isn't meant to be a 1 for 1 match.
Should we report every party that mines in Ifrit's, because a goblin can't see up a hill? That isn't "intended" game mechanics, we just aren't retarded enough to believe that should actually be against the rules either while it works. If you want to come back, after it's fixed, and say: You can't be upset, obviously it would be fixed eventually... That's fine. I'm all game. But pretending that folks just aren't supposed to play parts of the game as they currently are, because we don't believe they are intentional.... with nothing to go on besides comparing it to a Wikipedia page that we already know he doesn't intend to strictly follow?
Get out of here.
