Many of us were here when the sync range wasn't dynamic, and we remember how bad it was then, hence the many specific complaints to your suggestion. We have not yet reached the population point where getting rid of it all together would be effective. Things are much nicer now, and its been this way for quite some time. We've all learned to accept it and have adjusted to it. You should do the same.

Dude I'm not saying remove level sync entirely. I'm saying remove the cap so I can play with whoever I want when I want. Mainly meaning my friends.

People have already stated the problems that uncapped level sync caused, and we all agree the time before level sync sucked.

It should not change from the current system.

this isnt true all the mobs in all the camps are higher levels. like qufim and bibiki bay. In classic retail qufim was level 20 for pugs now its 22. etc etc for all the camps

No, it was not effective server wide. I can not say which mobs were touched and which weren't but things like Cape Terrigan are still 56-58, LoO is 59-62.

The greatness of this server is that it strives to bring players the experience from playing FFXI back when the level cap was 75 and with only two(three?) expansions available.

What attracted players to this game was not convenience and hand holding, but challenges and restrictions that required careful planning and critical thinking to persevere.

A 10 level gap for level sync is one such restriction. Melding itself with the rest of the game's mechanics, it encourages players to communicate with each other and figure out ways to put together an efficient xp farming group.

Meeting new people who are within your level range seeking the same goals as you is a beautiful experience that would be destroyed by removing level sync cap. We should not wish this upon ourselves for convenience's sake.

Darkstar got the levels wrong for most mobs and nas adjusted it. Don't spread misinformation please.

Also, you killed worms until 22 in qufim during this era.
