I've always been against a Force Pop system because it's not Era style gameplay.... but then again, neither is an HNM auto-claim system that encourages a bunch of AFK bodies or mutiple VPN accounts logged into a single zone and lagging it up.

I'm hesitant to admit it, but until the server is able to handle 100 characters in a zone competing, perhaps a force pop system running parallel to the time spawn may be the way to go since there's now anywhere between 4-6 Linkshells competing in the same zone at all times.

However, the cost of pop item MUST be something fairly prohibitive in my opinion, like 4 million gil per HQ and 1 Million gil per NQ pop to drain gil out of the economy and prevent them from being easily spammable.

You say this like... its common practice? Anything else you want to tell us?
