I love CC too It feels kinda good how guarded it is from anyone else ever having it. I, an already extremely game wealthy player, truly appreciate this and will continue to enjoy the luxury of having started sooner. (Thinly veiled attempt to show how much this hurts newer people.)

How is Alchemy? I wanted to be able to craft my own bullets, someday. How much will I suffer compared to just fishing and buying the bullets on AH?

From my personal experience since the changes, I wouldn't bother with anything within 2 levels of the recipe cap for skilling up. Not unless it's dirt cheap and plentiful to spam.

The way to 100 BC wasnt always like this (screenshot). Also saw alot of these 80+ synths +desynths without a single skillup. I'm missing 2x +0.1, forgot to take screenshots, but i got +0.8 in 40 min with only 40 synths +30 desynths on a lv100 synth a week ago.

i gave up on alchemy when i almost never got skill ups on something that wasnt 5 level difference. i took the hint that i should just ask the older players to make things.
