Apparently Ninja class is the only sub job to have because of one power.
The ninja blink power.
Either give the power to all jobs, Nasomi, or remove the job. Right now it is over valued because of your own personal actions on how the server runs. So your intervention is required to fix the job.
Just give all classes the blink spell or get rid of ninja, whatever is easiest for you but you must correct that or the TP buildup on AOE or something. The power is in your hands to stop everyone subbing ninja for end game.
This entire statement is built on ignorance and arrogance.
First off, NIN provides more than just damage mitigation as a subjob. Dual Wield is a highly valued trait that only NIN possesses and quite a few jobs benefit from. There's also Monomi and Tonko for the longer lasting sneak/invisible effects. It was never meant to be a straight up damage boosting subjob like WAR, DRK or SAM. It is more utilitarian.
Secondly, the game never forces you to run with a specific subjob. That was left up to the players to decide how best to go about playing the game. There is solid reasoning behind people choosing to use NIN subjob over other subjobs for most situations. I'd much rather have slightly slower kills and more longevity in my mages' manapools than throwing glass cannons at everything while hoping the mages' can keep up with the healing/buffing and that's what subbing NIN offers.
And finally, I hate to burst this bubble for you but...

not everyone uses NIN for endgame. In fact, I'd say a vast majority of people don't use it at all because it's pointless. Bigger things like most HNMs are not meleed period. It's mages that do the bulk of the work and they don't use NIN. About the only jobs that do use NIN are the tanks and even then, PLDs will sometimes use RDM or even BLU. Smaller events like Limbus or Dynamis, yeah, most melee do use NIN and for good reason. It increases their likelihood of survival and saves time due to less downtime waiting on the mages which is important when you're doing timed events.
