I understand this was probably an "oh shit moment" for him, shit got real, and you're probably out there in panic mode while seeking advice from people in the law arena about it. In this regard, I totally understand his decision.

As for the host, how does the host not get back to its customer, days after an alleged C&D letter has been potentially sent by a multi-billion dollar company who just issued some potential legal threats against one of your clients? Is the host locked down in Quarantine in Wuhan or something? How do you pay for a service and not have customer service all over it within 24 hours after the incident? I find it insanely hard to believe he has not heard back from the host this long into the process.

Something doesn't add up here to me.

everything's fine. The dude trying to steal the server told us so.

Don't worry about it.

In the leaked screenshots being talked about, he literally says that isn't what is happening. Goddamn learn to read. If he was trying to steal the ownership of the server and that convo wasn't meant to get out, why tf would he say the exact opposite. Also hilarious is people saying that because he came to defend himself, that somehow means he is guilty, like any other normal human being might not act the same way if they were put in a similar situation. The XI community is shit, whoever leaked those convos is even worse, and the people trying to create drama where there is none are even worse than them.

I can't think of another word to really describe someone planning the transfer of ownership of an entity or item from the current owner to a new one, where you discuss it with others like "he's gotta goooo" and "it's over" for them.

To each their own though. If he says that everything in that screenshot isn't actually what he meant to say, I can't imagine a reason to not believe him.

He said it exactly how it was said in the screenshot. You've repeatedly brought up that he meant to use different words when he's never said that even once in any of his responses. Maybe you should try to understand that. He specifically said nobody was stealing anything, in a private conversation about the server that was leaked. Why tf would he say that in a private conversation, if the goal was to steal the server? Even the leaked conversation says why it's necessary, because GM doesn't need the risk of it in his life. It's not even mentioned whether Setzor would take over or not, you all just assumed it. Just that 'the devs' would. I know it's hard to think of having more than one dev and decision maker, but it is possible.

I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. If he didn't mean to use different words, than what he was saying is pretty straight forward. Though he did say he wished he'd used different words, so I was going from that.

Why would he say he intended to steal the server in a private conversation...? As opposed to... a public one? I don't believe anyone has assumed Setzor would take over.

He literally never said he meant to use different words lmao. Why would he clarify in a private conversation about server ownership, that obviously was only leaked to start drama, about not stealing the server. That people then still went and ignored anyway, even though the clarification was leaked too. Yes as opposed to a public conversation, didn't think that would need to be said but obviously if the goal was the steal the server he would've lied about it publicly had the conversation happened that way. The convo about it wasn't public though, so why would he lie about it there? The simplest answer is usually the right one, if you didn't know that.

This is how someone recognizes that they used the wrong words to explain their feelings. His first pass at explaining that was to say he "lacked candor". And yes, I’m familiar with Occam’s razor. I’m not the one trying to explain why the very straight forward conversation in a private setting leaking isn’t actually what the person meant, now that it’s public.

You’re right. Sometimes the simplest explanation is the right one.. which is he meant exactly what he said privately.

No one sends a letter they are sending a C&D Lol they just send the C&D

Gullable children

This isn't true, in 2020. Many large companies send a digital copy to a host/representative law firm ahead of the official copy being received certified mail.

But for real.. Project much? You make forum accounts over and over to continue to make fun of dirt poor stupid kids.

In another one of his responses, he literally said he didn't regret anything he had said. Should prob go with the words he actually did use, rather than trying to find different meanings in others.

Setzor also called that people would do this in his very first response, ty for proving him right.

So read this wrong and dissect every word with your own intent attached, it will never be anything more than what it was.

True, he did eventually say that he didn’t mean it when he said he regretted what he said..

Seems to be an ongoing issue for him. He should just get back to us when he lands on what he actually means.

It doesn’t exactly take a prophet to predict that people will read his words and take them exactly as written.

Maybe take your own advice and read exactly what was written, because he never said he regretted it.

If you’re an adult and recognize that you used the wrong words, and because of that conveyed the completely wrong message than you intended.... but you also don’t regret that, it makes you way worse than what I’m suggesting he is.

He can pick, I guess.
