New laptop 8g ram i5 processor. Intel HD 620 graphics integrated

Game is running so bad that it's unplayable when in a party of more than 2 vs more than 1 mob.

I tried fooling around with DG VooDoo but it never even works as in the watermark never shows up in game that its working.

Not sure what to do...

Google "Atom0s Direct3D8 to Direct3D9 Proxy FFXI" and you'll find a fix that has worked for many other laptop users. See if that works for you, I recommend it.
