So I joined Nasomi nearly 4 months ago, and i absolutely love it here!! i just wish I knew this place existed a few years ago.

There are many great things about this server but one thing that I enjoy is that there is a large population which got me thinking.
Does anyone know if we are advertising to new people, like on forums and stuff? If not, am I allowed to? To increase the population.

At first i wondered what douche would bring cancer here — than I realized its you Sharkbite. The kid who got banned from Eden for RMT and botting and now is one of the most hated people on Nasomi — you wont last long.

This might not be a very popular sentiment, but I think there are certain aspects of this server that are stretched to near breaking point as it is population wise. There have been several Fafnirs lately where nobody could do squat due to the lag, the dunes constantly has like eight xp camps going at any given time, and two of the three starting cities regularly experience hiccups due to crowding. I hate to say it, but I think we have enough people. Don't forget, this is just one guy running the show using a server he built in his house. It's surprising that it can handle(-ish) the amount of people it currently has. Please don't advertise. Invite friends, that's great. Let people find it the old fashioned way, that's great. But we got too much publicity from Ninja as it is.

I see no issue with growing the population: the more people we get, the more and more this becomes a truly in-era server. Remember: Nas did mention a couple of new CPU's he's yet to install in his last stream: if he puts those babies in and stuff improves then he's set a precedent that he's willing to shell out the coin for hardware improvements if they indeed work to fix issues. Grow the population, create the demand for hardware upgrades, and they will come.
