I have two characters farming goblins in West Altepa. Both are level 63. One is a thf, the other is a blm. The BLM is receiving 20% less xp than the THF. Both have signet. One is from Sandoria and the other is Bastok.

What's going on?

Are they under level sync?

Did one of them have Signet on?

I did some more testing and the XP seems normal now.

Here are the logs from earlier when I warped back, and refreshed my signet. As you can see, when you refresh a signet, it drops it.

in another thread someone posted if you are synced and have a higher level weapon equipped then your synced level you get less exp

i have not tested this but there are alot of weird things that happen with level sync, i personally think its the stupidest idea ever but at least nasomi has a 10 level sync cap or it would be like eden where people level to 75 in valkurm dunes.

as a practical matter, I would say one of the most frequent causes of characters getting unequal exp is one of them not being in range of corsair roll--it particularly affects mages that are avoiding aoe
