Why are they not spawning ? have they been removed ? I need an item from them to complete a quests.

I got the sand charm. A fringe benefit of being from windy and not ever never ever getting the dunes OP.

you get them from killing the pirate skeletons, but yeah, it's kind of whack on here and the drop rate sucks

i have heard rumor they're guaranteed to show on darksday going both ways, but i have never authenticated since i haven't personally needed the charm on here

I rode the boat for a long time before a crossbones dropped a charm for me. Good luck. When you do get a pirate ship, all of the skeletons will be popped at the start of the voyage, so use care when opening the exterior door. Crossbones and the NM will not link on pulls.

My problem is that i have not seen a single pirate ever. I cant drop the item if there is no mob. Maybe Nas removed them so they dont aggro through the floor ?

As of last week they were spawning.

Got a sand charm yesterday.

I rode the boat for about 2 hours.
In that time the boat left without me once and the pirates spawned once (with an NM).

Previously I have ridden the boat for hours and seen no spawn for a few hours (missing the odd trip here and there due to glitched boats) and I've seen back to back spawns.

Also, I'm 1/30+ with all but 4 kills being TH4. Getting the sand charm is indeed a pain here on Nasomi.
