About a year and a half ago my shell was planning the server's first Tiamat kill. I had decided to go rdm/drk; but there was a small issue... it was the day before the run and my dark knight sub was level 1. So I decided to take it from 1 to 37 in one sitting and put a stopwatch on it just for fun. 11hrs 43minutes later I was complete.

This has gotten me thinking... what is the fastest time a job could get from 1 to 37 on nas server? To help settle this question I propose the following server-wide challange:

For the next two weeks anyone on the server is eligible to post a level 1-37 time, and the fastest time wins 10M in cold hard cash.

A few caveats:
1) We must coordinate the start time before hand. Contact me on naschat.
2) The time must be faster than 8hrs31mins (the record currently held by Esselsis)
3) Any manner of exploitation will disqualify your time; as will griefing other contestants exp parties.
4) The timer will not pause except for a server-wide outage. Individual zone crash and you're SOL.

Everything else is fair game. Powerlevelers, medication, static with friends, do what you gotta do.
Hope there are a few people out there crazy enough to have some fun with this.

I miss xp rings and worm parties. I also miss having a full day to sit down to play, without distractions.

But I still find this intriguing.

I'm curious how you plan to verify the time taken to get to 75, unless you will take people's word. In which case I just leveled 1-37 in the time I wrote this post.

The coordinated and documented start time will be at a point where 8-11 hours later I'll be able to keep an eye on progress via /search or what have you.

I wish I had like 11 hour "game time"....

Insane time btw.. looking forward to c if anyone can beat this time.

I have a good idea of how I could do this if i had at least a couple of people to static with and split the winnings... and that long of a period i could dedicate to nothing but playing... And if nas was on board with resetting one of my jobs to level 1, lol. .

So I'm doing math. A wiki I found says you need 143,000 xp to reach level 37.

In 12 hours, this means roughly 200 xp per minute.
