Hi Nas Community,

As the subject reads and you may have assumed, thanks for the memories and I'll be taking an extended break. I doubt I'll ever return because I got tired of the grind and it became more of a chore than fun. That is the line I draw in the sand. Obviously I knew what I was getting into from the start because FFXI is all about the grind however I really enjoyed grinding and farming up until recently.

I was going through a hard time in my personal life this year and the FFXI community really helped me pass the time and just have fun, disconnect you know. It's not just a "game" - I met a lot of really cool people on the server.

I feel like the energy is low. Dec 2018 was amazing when I joined and I felt the hype. I hope that Nas becomes more transparent with his projects and vision. I hope that Nas starts to focus on quality scripting and fixing the little things. Without things to look forward to and a strong vision and support, I think the energy will remain very low.

I might check out WoW (Sunwell Private Server) because I miss the hack'n'slash type games, PvP, etc.

I've been on a break myself, but remember playing with you a few times and you were a great addition to the server.

I played briefly on the Sunwell WOTLK private server back when it first launched (got to like 70 and quit, lol) but hear it has pretty much become a ghost town. Not sure if things have changed recently, but with Classic's official launch I imagine everything has taken a hit private server wise lately.

If you decide to play WOW Classic during your hiatus, I hope to see you on Kirtonos, Horde side!

Maybe we'll both make our way back to Nasomi in the not too distant future though, who knows.
