Okay, talking to a friend online in the game got me concerned about something.

My wife and I play. We have been on the server over 2 years. One thing we enjoy doing is putting music or a documentary on and fishing together whereever to pass the time.

Someone told me this is against the HELM rule...

Is this true? Last time I checked HELM meant Harvesting Excavation Logging and Mining. I don't see fishing called out in the rules anywhere.

We have a newborn in the house, its pretty difficult for us to do much more right now with the little guy. Just trying to make sure this isn't somewhere hidden in the rules that I am missing.

If it is against the rules then I am a bit aggravated. I understand trying to stop exploits but we are two very different characters and two different people trying to make progress in the game. Guess we will need to figure out something else to do if so.

Fishing was disabled a long time ago (rip shihei haha) so when the helm rule was in place, fishing wasn't intentionally part of it. But then when fishing was fixed and added back to the game it did become part of the HELMF rules. If one of you want to fish and the other takes care of the baby thats ok, and vise versa. But unfortunately you cannot fish at the same time, even in different zones.

Wow, okay. Well that is a bummer. I understand the reason for the rule. But didnt see anywhere on the official rules. I just dont understand how you cant apply common sense to it. I guess it would take too much work for one person to investigate and see we arent pooling resources, obviously playing as two different people and were both broke as shit lol. 22Guess we will find something else to do together.

Maybe one of you could invest the money into leveling up crafting while the other fishes.
