Any new player guilds to join? How to find them? Who's the NPC in Windurst that gives linkshells?

I've got a month experience playing on retail server so I'm not totally a noob. Thanks and hope to see you all in game

There's always tons of newer linkshells to join. We refer to guilds are linkshells in ffxi, and the easiest way to find one is just shouting in your home city. There's also a recruitment section of the forums, so feel free to post there.

I've been thinking about starting a linkshell for myself and some friends, we are all brand new to the server and we want to experience the game in a natural progression but I've also been playing with the idea of extending it into a new player linkshell.
I just don't know if there would be enough interest in it or if such a linkshell already exists though so I've been holding off on it

I'm looking for a Linkshell too.
Im a darn reponsible adult now so I can only play evenings and weekends.

I can commit to most scheduled events though.
Currently a 28 Thief/War Rank 3 Bastok, no COP missions started.
