RDM tanking is the easiest tanking in the game. Even I can do it!

For everything except Prudence, and maybe Byakko. But who brings an actual tank to Byakko?

The coolest part about rdm tanking to me is that you can do it on the cheap. I solo held cerberus for six minutes with nothing but earth staff, af hat, and relic body. You try going up against Cerberus with 3 easily obtained pieces of gear on pld and you're going to be in serious trouble when your job abilities wear off.

Sure, when you have a full tanking party with relic bard, aegis pld is a safer and simpler move than rdm in most situations. That's a bit easier to obtain here than retail, but even with all the cards stacked in pld's favor, rdm doesn't trail by much.

Definitely. RDM also feels alot more readily available than PLD, which allows for more versatility. Definitely spared a couple of headaches in my case when the PLDs were unavailable for stuff on the fly lol.
