We just letting stuff like this happen, or is this messed up? What is the norm.

It’s definitely allowed to happen. It has been tried many times.. it rarely has a lasting effect.

Looks like none sold for two days 8/29 - 8/31 and people caved and listed them for 20k/stack.

The sales at 7500 could be someone sending them to themselves or a little price manipulation, or just someone who undercut way too aggressively.

I don't see anything wrong and it should fix itself.

people with 2 chars can just keep lowering prices of stuff for a while.

Who, specifically, is lowering the price? I see a lot of different names in the history and a lot of sales that sat on the AH for part of a day. You're mad that someone sold 6 stacks to themselves and made the price history look bad?

Go fix it by selling to yourself if it bothers you so much. If they're worth 30k, they'll bounce back to 30k. With thousands of active players, it always corrects itself.

I got drunk and tried to do this the other day, but not to as much success as these folks.
