Hey everyone, I need some help figuring out what job I want to be. I'd like to play a job that if I invest money and time into it, it will be rewarding. Currently, I have Whm Sam and Brd 75 with War and Thf being 63 and Blm 57. Those aren't the only jobs that I would be willing to play, just the jobs I have over 50. Any and all advice is welcome, but I already know the most common answer, if someone answers will be "Just play what you like, every job is useful." This is mainly aimed at Endgame if that helps at all.

Well the main question I have here is what do you want for your reward? Money? You want thf, there's no getting around that. But if by rewarding you mean big damage or incredible amounts of utility or usefulness to your ls, then that answer is going to change. What are you looking to accomplish?

the big jobs for end game will be, BLM, BRD, COR, PLD, SMN, RDM, WHM. I mainly am leaving DD's out of this b/c everyone has a DD(and THF usually). If you really want to be usefull then i'd say aim for those jobs. Now of course, play what you enjoy. SAM is always fun as you can dish out massive damage, DRK has its use as a stunner and damage. NIN is great for loads of stuff minus big HNM(don't get me wrong if you got the gear it can work).

Once again, play what you like to play and have some of the for mentioned for your big HNM stuff.

if u want endgame , go brd , there is always a need for another brd...and is a job that doesnt need TOP gear to feel usefull (it helps of course!)

this is true, jobs like cor, brd, whm, blm are probably the number one sought after, and smn for certian things. BUT be prepared to build a Ghorn for your brd if you plan on maining it. Most EGLS have a few so if you don't have one, you probably won't be playing brd(i know my EGLS has 5 Ghorns and i'm building one for mine)
