Hi all, I felt like now is a good time to write something like this. Hopefully Nasomi reads this. I used to play ff11 a little after the English version started back in the day
and I loved everything about it. The game wasn't perfect by any means but it was still really great. I have also played on nasomi for a couple of years on and off.
Look Imho this server is almost the perfect server, the game and all its quirks are really well done. Things like Ownms are genius, along with the small but notable changes on here.
The server is mostly stable and reliable, and things are relatively balanced nicely. Why am I writing all of this...? Two reasons..

1.Nasomi you have done a great job over the years and built something special and I want you to really know the players appreciate that.

2.There needs to be something to increase server population again, and imo the ONLY thing that will be able to do that at this point is
not just put new content (things like next znms, salvage eventually etc.) but to try and keep things updated a bit more. Most importantly
is to please communicate with the player base more, like you used to, even a little bit would make a huge difference. Without these things
the population is likely to continue declining and eventually getting just too small, and we will lose more and more people to other private servers.

Please Nas talk to us more than the once in many month easter egg or super bowl messages lol, I get you might be busy but it isn't too long to
do this even once in a while. This would increase peoples confidence in the server and have higher pop, which imo improves the game for everyone.
I remember when that ninja guy first streamed the server, around those days the server was in its prime and had what I find is the golden number of players on one server,
about 1,5-1,8k. Anyway I hope things will change in this way... one day.

People cared more about cheating & gatekeeping than loving & playing the game. It's not Nas that's the problem tbh, I don't blame the guy. I'm surprised he keeps the server up tbh. No one seems to acknowledge the absurd level of grief people gave him for holding them accountable to *gasp* the consequences of their own actions.
