Woke up this morning and noticed a Kotaku.com post about FFXI in my morning news feed. Biggest reason I wanted to join as seeing the word 'Legacy' and 2005 gameplay. That was the key word that made me want to join this server's game.

I was looking for a more authentic FFXI experience than retail, which I found overwhelming and lonely, and a US friend pointed me this way. Really looking forward to it. Thanks for existing.

Reddit, though it was a meandering path that started in Tales from TechSupport, so how I wound up at FFXI private servers I'm not sure XD
