I obviously do not mean anything drastic here but like are there any big things coming that will draw attention...?

There is another lv75 server, I have no interest in starting drama between the two so I will leave it unnamed but you may have a good idea to which I am referring to. I have already lost 3 friends to this server, fairly established players too. Poking my head in on this server they are already up to 70~100 characters logged in.

Looking through on their forum too, seems the admins are highly motivated in making a good server and listening to their players (something...I think we can agree Nasomi sorely lacks). They even have a bug report section, and an announcement section for updates, they have fixed a lot of things, player reported things too. I can see the appeal to a server where the admins actually commune with the playerbase, that being said I have no interest in going there as I'm sure many who read this also share that same view.

As for Nasomi though, we are left in the dark where these things are concerned, we don't get much updates, we don't have a bug repot section or anything like that, and now with MH gone...it's just..hurting us. I'm not really sure what to say beyond this besides I wish Nasomi would communicate with us better.

You might want to consider following the fb/twitter. Nasomi has a professional enterprise grade ticket system, where if you have an issue you create a ticket, he'll correspond with you to get the issue resolved. He has made several announcements about it, and you can even click the naschat button at the top to get there.

Nasomi announces updates and events when they come through. That other server is still fixing things that have been working fine here for a long time. And they're going to come upon some major issues they'll have to overcome, just as nasomi did, if they get much larger. The point is nasomi has already been through all that, and overcame it, and the end result is one where the content exists, and for the most part, works as intended, so there's less of a need for constant interaction. I'm not sure what announcements you're after, we still have easter going on which was announced what, 2 weeks ago?

Moghouse being gone does make it a bit challenging some times, however it was necessary at the population level we are at. 400+ people in one ls, especially when a lot of those people exist solely to troll and spread rumors and false information, it was a mess. There's more than enough people to make quite a few smaller, yet sizable shells that are managed by the players.

I've poked around other servers, I've seen what they do. And ultimately I end up back here, because this is the place with the best stability and most functional content out of all of them, not to mention the highest population by far, which is because it has the best stability and most functional content.

I'm sure they'll see that admin's who try to play with the playerbase are going to get ripped apart. People trash nasomi all the time, it amazes me he still puts in the effort he does after all these years of abuse. He's become less involved with the community directly because there's so many of them. If you're here to play the game and make friends, why do you need the admin? He exists, he's a nice guy, and he works his ass off to make it happen. Sometimes he doesn't want to socialize with the players, and I can totally understand that.
