One of my favorite activities on retail back in 04 was chocobo digging. I spent some time in attempts to find my answer, but haven't been able to

From my understanding, digging isnt available to us currently. If this is still the case, is it something that will remain deactivated or are there plans for it to function in the future?

Digging is not currently available.

Things aren't just 'activated' and 'deactivated'. They have to be completely reverse engineered from scratch.

Nas plans on having everything work at some point obviously. He was working on choco digging once before but didn't finish it.

Thank you for responding! I hope I didnt come off as needy. I do understand that this project is demanding in time and effort.
Just wasnt sure if this feature was something that was always going to remain out of the game or added when able.
