From what I remember hearing, TOAU was made 99 because Colibri had 0 evasion. Has this been fixed?

If so, I really think it is time to consider scaling down the levels of monsters in TOAU zones. Maybe it doesn't have to be completely back to normal. What if Lesser Colibri were a fantastic alternative to The Boyahda Tree? This would instantly open up 4+ camps in Wajaom (not including the 2 excellent meripo camps). I'd leave the scaling of NM and HNM levels to Nasomi's discretion.

Did you know the some of the most balanced 75 parties featuring BLM, DD, and WHM were on trolls in Mount Zhaylom? 75 black mages need to get some legitimate EXP, too! BLM, what if you could get a group and go knock off some Qiqirn in Aydeewa Subterrane for some pretty good EXP and soothing music?

It just seems like there's a very easy 'content button' sitting around that requires minimal effort to accomplish. I would hope everyone here could show their support for this. TOAU without a doubt has some of the most beautiful zones of FFXI, and many people want to experience this content once again.

I'm also for this idea entirely, if there's one thing we could use on this server it's more variety when it comes to EXP camps. Properly supporting the ToAU camps would not only help in this regard, it would bring a lot of nostalgia for a large number of players in the community, which I think is why many of us are here in the first place.

I also would like to see ToAU monsters at there original level or at least a level where 75s can merit on them

Yes, if they weren't at the normal 55 range but were all instead designed as merit camps, that would absolutely give the server as many merit areas as it would ever need. Could disable the experience boost to sanction as needed if that was an issue.

While I think we should add the content in it's entirety, in due time, there's alot of work that needs to be done in that area. Let's focus on one thing at a time. I'm sure most of us would agree that bringing mobs back down to their normal levels is fine, keep /ZNM/HNM 99 even, let's start with exp. While it's fun traveling around areas that are extremely dangerous even for max level characters, there's so much of the gorgeous world we can't fully explore and enjoy because of that same reason. I understand there's alot of things that need to be fleshed out and properly coded, namely hnms and the znm and would be way too easy if they were the normal level. The couple merit spots there is are going to get crowded as the server grows, which it is, rapidly and as it stands is basically a melee burn only. WHMs have a tough time here cause there's really no reason to take one over a rdm in exp parties, as there's no enticing mobs to fight that require erase/viruna(though rdm do have this /whm later on)stona, though it's a necessity for alot of content outside of exp. More is better and as we get more players we need options and variety so all jobs are included.

Initially the colibiri had 0 evasion, so a decent pt at leypoint could chain forever, and get insane exp/hr for the level range. Once I even saw a pt with Versace that was all in 5/5 af with no rings, earrings etc, hitting chain 6 lol. Thats all been fixed, but I know nas feels that aht urghan put an end to the SC > MB pt set up. Aht urghan camps or not, once you get past 50+ and all DDs get access to their good weaponskills and abilities, as well as better gear options and haste gear become available, melee burn style PTs become more and more efficient.

Aht urghan isnt just colibiri camps though, and with how popular the server has become, they wont always be available, so people will have to go to eruca in Mount Zhayolm or puktraps in Aydeewa Subterrane, Imps in mire etc.

I'm sure a viable way of obtaining isp would be highly welcomed in any fashion amongst these new folks in particular looking around wondering how turbans are so common. And we'd all love a burst of fresh air in the exp game.
