When I log on everything is fine. After im fishing for about 30 minutes+ plus it starts to be hard for me to catch stuff due to the lag picking up. I run on a laptop mostly... Does anyone have some settings tweaks to help stop this issue? Also it is the whole game that lags not just fishing.

Just the typical turn off Shadows, weather effects etc in Config. You can play on lower resolution as well if you're just fishing. I run the 3rd option 700p on my old laptop when im fishing.
