After i uninstalled Nasomi and reinstalled with new installer i can no longer see the stats on the food item descriptions. That was pretty helpful!

Seeing food effects in their descriptions was a 2016 patch. It's intentionally removed.

Yes, i understand this. but its only removed for people who have used the new installer..... why not remove it for everyone. kinda wish i didnt use it.....

Until everyone is required to use the new installer, there is no way to make everyone update.

What you should be wondering is what cool things the installer gets that people on old installs don't have.

This always happens with private servers - people want to pick and choose which "quality of life" features should stay and which should go. The only way to avoid this is an all-or-none approach: either be exactly like it was in the era you're trying to emulate, or don't. I see Nasomi working towards the former (which is good, in my opinion). So, not having the stats on food is just something people will have to accept, among other things. There's no way to force those who downloaded prior to the new installer to remove that feature, I guess, but there isn't anything you can really do about that at this point.

As newer features come into the installer which are both beneficial AND in-era, it'll become more convincing to people to use the new one.
