Just curious if anyone can shed some light on how this works on Nasomi and in general. I saw that we (Bastok) had been dominant in PSO' area all week and 4 days before the tally we were also still the dominant nation. Then after the update it just kept on being Beastmen controlled.

How do we take it so i can get the OP warp or is it totally random on Nasomi?

Getting a bunch of your countrymen to EXP in that area the night of the tally and not die doing so seems to have the best effect.

4 days before doesn't mean anything compared to hours before.

it only takes a good party about half an hour to flip conquest to half the bar, so 4 hours is not nearly late enough to leave a zone thats hotly contested.

This.

A couple of weeks ago Sandy had Dominant status in Sarutabaruta 20 minutes before conquest tally, and Windurst still claimed. Region control almost seems random, but I'd bet that it just fluctuates much easier than in retail.

Also... Sandy got Saruta this week :D suck on that Windurst.

I didn't know that the Conquest Point vendor changed his wares according to your rank amongst nations, and I lost the opportunity to buy a cool shield in Bastok yesterday. ;_;

Oh well, on the upside, we got Dunes and I obtained the outpost teleportation! Woohoo! :D

The conquest system is fun and I'm happy that Nasomi implemented it here.

I'm not keen on how it works here, honestly. Myself and a few others, spent a good few hours in Gustaberg, and I noticed that as more and more people showed up closer to the deadline, control fluctuated incredibly wildly as to be almost arbitrary. It's nice that Windurst won the region (A Pyrrhic victory, some have been saying, and I can certainly see why, with only two zones!) but it felt as though as all the effort that went into taking it before the final half hour was essentially a waste of time. Rather than a Saturday night roulette, it would be nice if contributions throughout the week actually mattered, and it would give linkshells something to do.

The solution is to not die repeatedly, though I must say I would prefer if you continued to. :mrgreen:

Keep in mind that all of the people camping LL have an impact if they kill mobs with signet on. But I can see the frustration if it jumps wildly just based off that.
