Hi Nas members,

Like many, I leveled Ninja to 40 for UO BCNM. Once I for got a taste of Ni and researched the job in preparation for UO, I fell in love with it. Anyways, the items I want at level 40 are expensive and I need another 1.5 million gil pre-60. This being said, sometimes farming/fishing is tedious and I need a change but still need to maintain some gil making per hour. I can easily level my already-high DRG and WAR to 75 and was wondering how much gil does one make partying at this level on average from drops?

I might do a mix of getting 1 x level 75 job for gil, farm and fish (on alt char) to have fun with my Ninja (kote, haste gear, scorpion harness +1).

Thanks for the info.

Cheers,

~Rubi

You can low man merit for somewhat decent exp/hour and money on the turtles in gustav tunnel. Their ore sells well. I'd take war to 75 over drg for this purpose. Good luck!

You don't really make money off leveling or meriting. Most merits spots are frequently used so any drops that come from them will be heavily flooded on the ah and therefore not worth much. One example with this would be the turtles in gustav tunnel. They drop adaman ore which was significantly higher pricing on retail , but ease of access and a semi common merit spot has spiked the value on these. One exception to this would be buffalos in uleugrand range.Merit spots there are fairly rare so you can still some money meriting there.

The only other way your going to directly make money meriting with be through signet and sanction.Always have one of these on and after time you can buy items with them and sell them on the ah.One item I frequently sale since I have surplus of CP at this point would be royal knights breeches. 24kcp ~ 80k , obviously farming 24k cp (240,000xp or 24 merits) is going to take a lot longer then just farming the gil.

Getting 75 however will increase your money making opportunities 10 fold tho. Join a proper endgame/high lvl shell then you can have access to new money making opportunities such as HNM,sky, limbus , ksnm ,ownm , more bcnm , higher lvl nm's , higher lvl farming spots , when u can farm 100k+/hr its certainly much less tedious.

Hope this answered your question

Other than the camp Jimbo mentioned, you are probably going to spend more gil on food than you will make on drops.

I agree with everything stated here. Was just trying to think of the best option for original question. Money just seems to flow by doing end game content as a 75 :)

Both have uses. DRG is a solid DD that is particularly useful for Angon though whereas WAR is just a solid DD for most things.

If you love Ninja, you better love farming. She's the one you fall for that doesn't put out unless you take her to a 5 star restaurant in your mercedes and get her drunk on $500/bottle of champagne.

Word. Ninja is not a good first job to 75. I will wait until I am Rich, max fishing on alt, etc.

Sad, but reality.
