Okay everyone, this is public now. Like I said in a previous thread, this video is aimed at my 29k sub base which are WoW private server players and is very much written in a way for people that have never seen FFXI before and might be interested in playing something a bit more in depth than WoW.

Although there is going to be no details in here that none of you will know already, hopefully you'll find it at least enjoyable. It's not a review of any sort, more of an introduction to the game and this server.

I love how it explains things we take for granted, but aren't intuitive at all for a new player coming from modern games, like trading quest items, getting Signet or checking every enemy you encounter.

I didn't say you called it a review but i think it's implied based on your channel doing WoW private server reviews. I think that the information you gave was a very good introduction to the game itself moreso than information about Nasomi Server beyond the install. For instance, you didn't talk about how the account system works.

All in all i think the video was great but i'd really like to see you do a part 2 where you go over some of Nasomi server intricacies (good and bad) and introduce mid to early end game. If that sort of thing floats your boat would be great to see. Especially with your spice of humor.

Hi Dodgy, we hit a new all-time player record today (which is rare, as Sunday is normally the highest day), probably in no small part from your video. Thanks for bringing in some new players with this video.

The new record is now 1138. The previous record was set on (Sunday) July 8th at 1135; and before that, only 1101, on July 3rd (we had exp rings active).

Tomorrow, it can go even higher. Maybe 1200 for the first time?
