Hello All,
It seems like the Goblin bomb toss is a hot topic on this server and really needs to be discussed in-depth. Since Goblin's are used in a quite a few exp camps on retail, this is leaving a bit of a hole in the must needed exp camps as the server becomes more populated/congested. As word goes around that "bomb toss is op" pretty much everyone on the server is scared of goblins at this point. That was never the case on retail and Goblins were a very common EXP mob.

Lets hear all the evidence that you have on how and why this is off on the server compared to retail. The big issue now is with cast time, the current cast time seems to be 2 seconds. But as we can see on the video below it's about 4-5 seconds.

I already send nas videos and told him about the prep time. What I said in the other thread was just to say that it is not "instant" like claimed.

I also agree but as we can see from this thread. Most of the server could care less about getting this fixed. I guess that's why we don't see many ohats on the server, that mob must be extremely hard without being able to stun firaga 3.

You can silence it. It is laughably easy. I can dual box that dude. That's also a very poor example as ga3s are a long cast. We stun them on tia, jorm, and sky gods just fine.

Forsure don't remember it being easy at all on retail, but then again I killed it late 2003. I also don't remember silence even being a part of the strat and every guide I find on the web doesn't even mention silencing the mob but to bring 3+ stunners. Are we sure that it could even be reliably silenced? Sky gods are extremely hard to silence but you can find records on the web of people using it as a strat. Not one hit on the web for Hakutaku+silence.

Its nasomi, assume everything you read is incorrect. Guides should be used as reference only, not gospel.

Just odd that you would miss out on the silence resistance for this nm. The fight becomes very trivial if the guy can be silenced.

Why is it odd? There are literal pages of small 'misses' like this.

Charybdis and angel skin.
That slime NM spawning differently that one guy was being a turd about.
Oztroja doors not functioning correctly.
Banishing gate KI in game, but eldieme KI not in game.
etc etc etc.
