I know that I played on another account before you even heard of this server and witnessed all of the BS and favoritism that occurred which cost the server a majority of it's founding player base.

Keep playing pretend on a server designed to appease his friends though, they need you if they're going to fully simulate their pathetic glory days. Everyone that sits here and bullshits new players does it because no matter how great they are, it's not fun to play one of the strongest characters on the server if you're all alone.

Crafting and getting skill-ups on this server right now just isn't fun or really worth the money. The skill-up rate is so woefully slow... it definitely isn't the same as it was on retail, or on any other private server for that matter... on to of this the break/critical brake rate is insanely high, even on synths where you're 2-3 levels from cap. The HQ rate definitely isn't retail values either, I'm pretty sure T3=T2, T2=T1, & T1=T0 here.

The easiest way to resolve this is to just revert it back to what it was before, or I guess try to fix the values. I won't say what to do, but it's clear something needs to be done.

If anything those changes introduced new exploitable bugs that allowed some weeding out of the playerbase that used those to their advantage :roll:

There isnt really any question that T2 was 25% and T3 was 50% on retail, and those are most certainly very close to the %s we have here. The only thing questionable is if t1 was 10% vs 6%, but the best info anyone has seems to say 6%. Not sure if anyone knows the exact T0% here, but it's probably around 1-1.5% which is again probably in line with retail. Hq rates on nasomi are very close if not exactly the same as these retail rates posted on page 5, 6, or 7 of this thread, repeated below. If you can find a large amount of factual information that gives different HQ% values for the 5 teirs, let's have it.

The Tier estimation is "conservative" because I'm always assuming that any synthesis support buff present is Advanced and that any Furniture in the MH is giving its crafting moghancement. Thus I should be overestimating skill level rather than underestimating, which should bias the HQ rate estimates downwards. .... or I'd like to pretend that it matters, but in practice I ran the numbers with the opposite assumptions (furniture not active and NQ support) and it made almost no difference. Still, those are the qualifiers.

Older players existing only causes problems for nasomi, because when he feels he needs to make a necessary change, older players having had it easier is always thrown back in his face.

This change was made for the economy and to make leveling a craft to 100 a challenge again. Im not arguing if the changes were reasonable, but am telling you that you are wrong about the reasons why.
