Hi. I was looking for help to get the carby mitts and the smns so i can start smn with no worries. Anyone planning a run my in game name is godcomplex and ild love to be a leech lol

I think you might be waiting a while. On retail these can be soloed but here you will need multiple 60+ or 75 players and a lot of time from them.

Alternatively you could just do the mini trials at level 20, but you won't be able to get Fenrir that way. I would really consider whether there is anything else you'd like to take to 75 first so that you can unlock all the avatars as part of a group (and not leeching) and have them from level 1.

Back on classic retail I mained SMN as my first job and it was a tough slog without Fenrir, and I did have to do the mini trials on my own for any hope of unlocking any avatars. Maybe people are more willing to help here, but I don't know.

In any case, I'm level 42 so I can't help I'm afraid.

Carby mitts are easy enough to get, the NM is cake for most 75s, might need some healing for him and avoid throat stab but that's about it. Oh and you gotta get that damn prelate key, that's a pain to get sometimes.

The Prime fights on the other hand are broken in a bad way, seemingly have a very high chance to 1 shot with shell V and the proper bar spell up, so pretty much nothing like they should be, prolly best to use other smns or bsts for the fights or do the mini fork quests.

I have the offering but my highest is 37 whm. I wanted to save the mini forks for teleports later. Wanted to lvl smn first but im going to work on sam or bst until i can get them done to lvl smn.

Did he make the fights harder recently?

Nuke and sleep strategy is good to avoid their astral flow moves. Never not been one shot in those fights if one goes off. Meleeing it would be a little more fun but not worth the wasted time and xp.

Pld/rdm takes literally no damage for all avatars up to fen/dia, of course at 75 with some merits
While I get 1shot every time on warrior

Summoner at 75 can also solo all avatars with carbuncle.

Any BST can solo these easily, with 0 pet food. Sic pet, afk and it dies. Their 2hr does 0 dmg if you happen to have metallic armor up on your crab. I have done all avatars this way minus Fenrir which I did have a party, which should be trioable with 3 bsts and MAYBE duoable depending but I think you will run out of time as a duo for Fenrir.

If I am on Message me Zeko, and I'll see if I can do a couple for you. I'd want to get the Avatar's Ring anyway I think but really want to do Mammets (CoP 2-5) so I can work towards unlocking Diabolos (CoP 3-5) before I start to level SMN.

I thought everyone just found a 75 SMN to solo it with Carby.
