From nasomi FB (https://www.facebook.com/nasomi/):
Quote:
Due to an error, some passwords were not properly hashed. The issue has been resolved however you may need to log into the account page and reset the password of your game logins.

You may need to change your password in order to log in due to a fix to the account creation system.

Here are the details:
1. Log into https://na.nasomi.com/account/index.php using your forum account
2. Click "Reset" next to the game account/character that you are now unable to log into
3. Enter a password for the game account/chaarcter to use
4. Log into the game using this information

Still having issues logging in? ->
You are most likely experiencing this issue: http://nasomi.com/wiki/index.php?title= ... characters

Read it carefully.

Quote:
*'''Fix:''' Open the Nasomi launcher. Right click the configuration you want to launch. Click edit. In the "Command" box, add --user yourusername --pass yourpassword. '''Do not delete anything from the Command box if it isn't empty!!!''' If you don't understand, here's a gif: http://nabutso.com:4438/FFXI/pw.gif . If it asks you for your username/password afterwards, this means that the username/password you entered into --user or --pass is incorrect

Here's the gif incase you somehow miss it:

Is there a way to manually select which server I connect to? I can only only connect to server 2, but it's rarely the one that shows up with the lowest ping for me.

You need to download the new launcher, it will let you pick which server: https://na.nasomi.com/software/ashita.zip

I am using that version, but I don't see how to manually pick. Whichever server has the lowest ping is automatically selected.
