Nasomi Community FFXI Server :: Thinking of trying this, some questions.

Hi there, I am thinking of giving this server a try but I have a few questions.

1: What expansions are on the server? I know wotg was the last one before the 75 cap was broken, but how high does it go here?

2: Any special private server extras that were added?

3: Any major bugs I should know about to try to avoid?

4: I am thinking of starting as a rdm, everyone loves refresh, Whm be a good enough subjob till endgame etc?

5: Any do's and don'ts for the server? as each private server has their own rules and such.

6: Any suggested race? I was thinking of just going hume as I prefer to not suck at half the jobs by going say galka (they are ass in old school ff at mage jobs due to lack of mp) or taru (Ass at melee dd/tank due to piss poor hp/str) Still a wise choice?

What about 60 fps, is that possible with the launcher? Also how often does it get updated, like, can we expect Wings of the Goddes expansion things like dancer and scholar?

As for my ff11 experence, I played when it first came out in NA, then off and on after each expansion, currently I am also playing the offical server which is where I heard about this. Thanks all.

Bug fixing updates every now and then. Wouldn't expect BIG contents update.

The worst thing that can happen is that sometimes ship-related monsters (e.g. Crossbones, Pirate Pugils) spawn inside the ship as soon as it leaves port and there's no escape. My recommendation is that until your level is high enough to solo such mobs, don't board that ship alone, wait for others, preferably higher level, that can take care of that (and usually there will be higher-level players taking the ship because of fishing). If you have to ride it alone I recommend switching to a level 1 job before boarding to avoid exp loss (Both Selbina and Mhaura have nomad moogles so no problem here) and use reraise, or at least set your home-point to a safe place (with moogle access).
