Do moon phases affect fishing in Nasomi? I know they do in retail, no info around as to whether or not it does on Nasomi that I could find.

I do not believe so.

Fishing through many different moon phases I seem to always come away with the same amount everything whether I'm fishing black sole or gigant squid.

Not that I am aware of, but I don't think anyone has tested it out for fishing.

Since most people are only fishing for gil if it did work you'd get better(or worse) gil per hour depending on the Moon Phase. Although with all the other factors included the increase(or decrease) probably wouldn't be noticeable.

I can't say definitively because it's not like I log start time, end time, moon phase, and everything I've caught per session. But I do feel like bite rates are better at full/new moon, and almost invariably every 'bad' fishing expedition I've had seems to be in the in between phases.

I suppose it would be worth testing so there's definitive data rather than just a hunch this way or that.
