The nation aketons don't seem to yield more crystals. I think they are actually reducing the amount of crystals you get. I was leveling a level 1 job wearing a Republic Aketon and received 1 crystal out of maybe 15 kills.

Anyone else ever tried this? If crystals don't work, does the speed actually work? I haven't tested it yet.

no extra crystals? no point in getting one then...

you can use any aketon in ur home nation , but you can not use a nations aketon in that nation for the move bonus.

Eg: a sandy native can use bastok aketon in sandy for move bonus , but cant use republic aketon in bastok for a move bonus.

think its this way since no windy aketon available.

Only your own home nations aketon will work for you. Putting on a bastok aketon being from sandy will do nothing for you. I believe the post is correct about the crystals. Last time I lvled a low job with it on I remember thinking I was actually seeing less crystals than usual. Not that its a pressing concern. Movement speed in town definitely works and thats why most people would get it.

Nas used to give out Aketons on people's 1 year anniversary of joining the server.

TL:DR ANY aketon will work as long as your in your home nation , but you cant get movement bonus in non home nation.
