Will leveling WHM be tough? It seems like there are a lot of PL.

There's a million PLs, but whm is still going to be fairly easy pre-41. Even when I'm PLing I like to take a whm for back up

Yeah, the problem isn't the PLs, it's the dozens of other WHMs and RDMs in your level bracket that will be the main issue.

from what i've seen, parties prefer rdm for it's overall utility, but i'm lvling whm on my alt and up until 60 have been having no problem getting a party.

I think that's only true after level 41, when RDM gets Refresh. Until then WHM is probably a better healer because its mana pool is bigger.

Seems like there's a population boom recently, which makes me think I'll have to re-strategize how to level these jobs - Usually I used to exploit that fact that I'm from EU timezone and level less-demanded jobs on weekday evenings, when it's work time in NA and the population is relatively low, which means that party formations cannot be optimal, therefore even a BLM30 can find a party with relative ease, but guess that'll change at some point.

I made my own group yesterday for Crawler's Nest, there were so many RDMs but not a single WHM in sight for that level bracket. The only WHMs I see tend to be dualboxed healbots and not someone's main, if you want to be a dedicated WHM you will be popular I think.

Super easy to level if you're willing to form your own group as well.

Part of the problem with WHM (and BLM and to a lesser extent SMN) is that Clear Mind doesn't function properly here at tier 3 and up. The base hMP increases as it should but the incremental on each tock is only ever +1. It widens the gap in MP management between RDMs and WHMs and makes strong hMP sets more important here than they were in retail.

So a 75 WHM's base MP recovery first tick is only +20 instead of +24?
And is the second tick +22 or only +21?
That's really unfortunate if the pattern is +20, +21, +22 instead of +24, +26, +28
Is the former pattern a CoP era thing or something? Wouldn't surprise me.
