Anyone ever have any luck getting FFXI to work in virtual box with win 7 64 as the guest OS ?

If you're going to virtual box, why not 32bit XP which is the game's native?

Well I went with convenience and used what I had on hand. I have it up to the point I can launch it but then it closes right down. I am just wondering if it is an issue with the VM environment or not. I run it perfectly fine on win 7 64 bit ultimate at home. Just trying to focus in on the point of failure. If someone has done it before then I know where not to look :p

I have got it working, I had too much ram allocated it seems, so when I removed some it gave room for the 3d accelerator to run properly and not go over my ram usage on the host. Its a bit pix-elated but it should do for now and I am sure I am possibly clear that up
