So I found out you can change keybinds in the config text, but someone said it might get me banned. So would just adding a few macros (/map, cure on party, nukes) get me banned? I'd guess not, but don't want to risk it without confirmation.

Also, minimap addon isn't allowed either yeah?

The only macros allowed in the game are in the actual game menu. If you are using any .text files to load is a huge no no. You will be banned. And if you are currently using it, stop. Minimap is also bannable.
