The total scope of official rules for the challenge will be released after we all have had some time to sit with the PVP arena. So about 1-3 days.
After some thought, I've decided to list some rules that I think will make the fights more diverse and interesting.
- The winner will need 3 wins. So a maximum of 6 rounds.
- It will be a limited duel. If you win on X job, you must now choose a different job. The loser may choose to stay as the job they went or try a new strategy.
-Medicine usage is liberal, but no de-buff items will be allowed (bad breath hairpin or whatever) and no icarus wings. Every other medicine or food you can think of will be allowed including yagudo drinks, poison potions, and HP/MP restore items if you want. You will be allowed to restock after each round.
- TP Storing before the fight is not allowed. SAM or /SAM will be allowed to meditate at the ring of the 'bell'. Other pre buffs like shell haste etc are allowed.
-Relics are obviously allowed
-2hrs are allowed only once, even if the duration of the challenge extends past the cool down. Use them wisely.
More info to come when we find out how equip sets work in zone. I'm leaning towards no equip swap as it could cause each player to constantly lose target, but we'll see.
