edit: Any one else getting the same item from NPC in jueno but not actually receiving it? No my inventory was not full (30/35) but it took me 3 NPC gifts to get snowman cap in my inventory

There's plenty of NPCs, just do it again on a different one

Are there more than the six we know about in Port Bastok? I'm in the same boat, traded for my last item with a full inventory and I didn't get it, now I have no one left to trade cards to unless there are additional NPCs that will accept them.

If I understand correctly This event means you have to run, for example from sandy to jeuno by foot, the entire way starting from raunfaure? Multiple times?
I hope that isn't the case lol.

Nah, you can use any method you can to travel to Jeuno and back. Set your home point at your home city's MH or near it so you can make the way back from Jeuno by warp and to go to Jeuno you can OP-teleport to Qufim, Use the airship, Choco, whatever you prefer. I used the airship because at least in Bastok if you time everything right you'll always catch the next airship 2 minutes before it departs.
