So, myself, along with the entire population of the known universe, despises Valkurm Dunes. Yesterday we were experimenting around with different areas but it was kind of a bust. Between few mob pops, high difficulty kills for the xp gained, and xp ranges from 60-170, it just didn't work out.

I've read that the crabs in bubu are decent at lv14/15 but have high physical resistance. Some people have mentioned Dhamels/Crawlers around lv18 in bubu as well.

Has anybody else found a viable spot that isn't lizards in dunes?

Korroloka Tunnel was used a lot in retail. I haven't tried it here.

You're looking for mobs between levels 16 (to EXP on at 12) and 22 (to EXP on from 17-20). You could search the ffxiclopedia or bgwiki to get an idea but keep in mind that mob levels on Nasomi may be slightly different.

*EDIT* Some other suggestions were Maze of Shakrami, Jugner Forest, Carpenter's Landing.

I forgot about worm parties in Korroloka. Those could be really good.

Camps i have done:

Buburimu Peninsula : Level 13-19
@ 13 - 16 we camped around I-7
Targets Pull Dhalmels, and Birds when you run out of Dhalmels. Later @15/16 you can also pull gobbies here
@17 - 19 we moved to G-9
Targets were Pugils at the beach

Korroloka Tunnel : Level 15-19
This is a roaming camp killing worms at the entrance from Zeruhn Mines
This camp is pretty great but you need a very specific setup. Basic strat is to silence the worms then burn them down from range to aviod their nasty aoe's.
REQUIREMENTS:
WHM with silence
All DD's have Ranged Attack


I will update with more if i can think of them

Ages ago I did a lizard party in Meriphataud on the bridge at E-10. I think it was a 14 sync, and it was at least as good as the dunes lizards but with no competition for mobs. You pack in at one side of the bridge and your puller pulls from both sides. It's an easy trek if you can get a tele-mea. Downside: if your puller falls off the bridge he's got a long run ahead of him, and he's probably getting killed.

They're feasible but a lot more dangerous because of the increased spawn rate, so it'll be likely you'll get links (Not too bad if you can silence them though).
