Why is it reverse on this server? Every low lvl nm is camped to hell by high lvl thf's. Wouldn't it make sense that the guys sitting on 500 seals go farm the bcnm for the sellable version so us newbs can fight it out on the r/ex version? I mean the only people who can afford these ridiculous prices are the old players anyways. They get a shot every hour, for the most part, while I have to spend a week farming seals with the hopes of finding 2 other newbs "with seals" and still fight the bcnm + rng-esus. It just seems stacked against new players imo. Yes, I know I can camp those nm's as well but lets be realistic here. Those other guys have advanced jobs/subs and are able to do things like pull all placeholders or even just snipe em instantly making it hard to track anything. Not to mention sniping the nm before anyone knows what happened leaving us newbs runnin around like newbs for hrs on end. I ask the powers that be to consider change this format to be more new player friendly?

Because competition is fun and in the spirit of the server.

You still get that with my suggestion.....

There's no competition over Rare/Ex drops for NMs when in the open world and retail proved it when it changed to that.

These are two vastly different scenarios. Retail nms stopped being camped because of a couple reasons. 1. Everyone eventually had the items and no player growth 2. Most items that were really good were replaced by better/easier items after lvl cap was raised. It also helped with bots/gs'ing which seems nas suffers from somewhat. Now, in our case you could stay the same and eventually there will be so many items in circulation that the price drops to abysmal lvls such that the nm WILL be up all the time anyways.....or make the change and benefit the new crowd now. Both ways the outcome is the same. We will all have the items and the nm's will become useless. At least with the r/ex way it engages the newbs in a somewhat fair playing field. (after the high lvls move on)

Sorry, it just won't happen. It is not the same level of competition whatsoever.

I mean not to feed the troll, but here nas tends to not tolerate any rmt activity. Thus the rmt changes arent needed and nas can still use the items in say a bcnm for a free version of something you would normally need to camp. Whether we love it or hate it nas probably wont change it lol.

If the low level NMs like LL and VE dropped the R/EX versions, then you'd have just as much competiton. Right now, you have the option to either camp them or buy them, using gil made from any other means. If they only dropped R/EX, then the high levels would be replaced by all the people who buy those items with gil they make from other sources. Those same people would still want their Leaping Boots, so you'd have just as much competition, if not more.

Its no troll my dude. It just makes sense to me. The only argument I seem to get is about "competitiveness" which is not what I would call it when 75's are controlling and monopolizing low lvl gear. The "competitiveness" will eventually die all the same as with the r/ex method when supply surpasses demand. Anyways, I have my answer. I'm not gonna beat a dead horse. It's back to F*kinFishinXI.......
