There is an abundance of linkshells for new players, so it might be your best bet to ask people in your home city, maybe send a shout (using the /sh command) asking for one. We got lots of helpfull players here (and some trolls admittedly) so you shouldn't have too much trouble. If you're a Windurst citizen, sent me a tell when I'm on, Nishinoya/Agrajag.
