My brother has managed to screw up his account somehow and I am hoping you guys can help figure out what he did. His chat is constantly getting bombarded with text saying....

ADDON] (FPS) Failed to call event 'render', error:... \FINAL FANTASY XI|Ashita\\scripts\addons\fps\fps.lua:155: attempt to index local 'f' (a nil value)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There should be a config file in the ashita folder, which calls out what's being loaded. Find that and you should have a starting point to disable that add on.

I am having same issue. No clue why it is happening, I changed nothing to my game or any addons of the sorts.

Any clue on the fix for this? Game is unplayable with all that text spam. Any help with this would be great.

I'm sure there's a fix but I'm too lazy to research it.

Workaround is to just not load the addon that is causing the problem, in this case "FPS"

ashita\Scripts\Default.txt

either delete or comment out the bit regarding the loading of FPS

How the hell do you fix this. Im a computer dummy so i need step by step instructions

type /addon unload fps
in your game chat, then press enter
