I've been frustrated with the boat rides going from Mhaura to Al Zahbi to Nashmau, so I thought I'd share this information. Discovered that if there is a Cyan Deep Crab on board, it will only aggro if you move regardless of casting sneak/using a silent oil. So just load in and don't move. Hope this helps another poor soul because I nearly rage quit after dying 4 times trying to get to Nashmau.

Another issue is the Orobon. It was spawned in every time I took the boat to Al Zahbi 2 nights ago. After the server crashed it seems to have disappeared. If you are unlucky and the Orobon is on board it is impossible to avoid. If you have any other discoveries that will help people to get to Nashmau alive, please let me know ;-(.

I have to ask - are you taking the boat ride to Whitegate to fish on the ride?
If not, consider doing enough mission work the next time you visit Whitegate to unlock the lure of the wildcat teleport. 300gil from a starter city and you are there.


Once in Whitegate you can tidal to Nash if you have it.

Question: How are tidal talismans obtained on Nasomi? We don't have PlayOnline nor do we have a promo code.

No, I'm taking the boat from Whitegate to Nashmau to fish at Nashmau. I don't have a tidal talisman.

From what I heard it was from a reward during the Valentine's Day event on Nasomi.

It was accidentally given out during Valentine's Day event this year for a day or so. It's normally available around Christmas Time, I believe.

Lots of stuff can be acquired during the seasonal events.

Just wanted to confirm this again, happened to a friend on their stream on the way to Nashmau from Whitegate. They had sneak on, went upstairs, it didn't aggro. But as soon as they went back downstairs the crab aggro'd through the ground and killed him.
