I put a piece of furniture in my MH. It said I then had 24 spaces. I transferred some items and left the MH. When I returned and checked storage, there were only three spaces and only three of the items. I checked my account and it showed the other items in storage. I took the three items, left MH and returned, Storage showed 0/3. I bought 2 more pieces of furniture, put them in MH. Storage showed 0/12. (I believe it should have been 9 spaces.) Items that were placed there before were not available. Is that a way to recover those items?

Which piece of furniture said you had 24 but had 3 instead?

I had a similar experience. From what I can tell, every time you rearrange a piece of furniture after setting it without zoning it'll count that piece towards your storage again. After zoning it'll reset your storage to the appropriate amount for the furniture you have.

As for the items, mine showed up in storage again after I put enough furniture in my MH to expand the storage space enough to get to them.

The furniture was a chest. I haven't done any MH furniture in a LONG time. I was trying to twist and turn it so I placed and rearranged several times. 3 does go into 24 eight times so maybe I placed it 8 times giving me 24 temporary spaces. I then took out the three items that were in there. I went and bought more chests, and put them in the MH. My missing items were still missing until I replaced the original three items that I took out. Then those items reappeared in storage. I think (hope) all is well now. Thanks.
