So I like to use a controller for fishing. I also like to be tabbed into something else on a second monitor, so I have the "Enable gamepad when game is inactive" option checked. Lastly, I also like to have a second character logged out just sitting on town.

Is there any way to make it so my controller will work with my main window that I'm fishing on, but do nothing on the window with the character sitting in town?

No way if you enable that option.
