first i had the problem connecting to the sever with the ashita launcher, i found out that i needed the newest version, so i downloaded it from the Nasomi homepage, deleted the ashita folder that was already in the SquareEnix folder, and replaced it with the new one. Then i was able to connect and it prompted me to log in (pres 1 to login 2 to sign up), so i put in my login info, it connected, the box closed, and... nothing happens. what have i done wrong?

it was the .\\ffxi-bootmod\\boot.exe box, it looked like a command prompt
I typed in my login info and it said sending account id (yellow), then Hairpin fix applied! (Green), then closing...(Red), and the box closed and nothing happens

Sounds like an incomplete install. Run it again?

Did you extract the installer before running it (if you did direct download)?

The reinstallation finished, and it worked this time! Not sure what caused it to mess up the first time. maybe cause i updated the old launcher before replacing it? anyway, thanks for the help.
